Description

The Bella Direct is a compact LED table lamp in a Brushed Champagne finish. A round head sits at an angle on top of a slim, tapered stem, which rises off centre from a flat round base. It stands 31.6cm tall, with a head 10.1cm across and a base 12cm across, so it fits neatly on a bedside table or a narrow shelf. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 5W giving 388 lumens, with a CRI of 90, so colours look true and natural under it. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K, and you choose the one you want when you order.

We think it is most at home in a bedroom or a living room. On a bedside table it gives a gentle, close light for reading before sleep, and on a side table it adds a soft glow at low level for quiet evenings. The 2700K version gives the warmer, more golden light that many people like in a bedroom; the 3000K version is a little crisper and whiter, which suits reading in a living room chair. It has step dimming, so it dims in set steps rather than smoothly, and you can bring it down to a softer level once the book is closed. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The finish is brushed, giving the champagne colour a soft metallic sheen rather than a high shine, and it carries the same tone from the head down the stem to the base. It is a plug-in lamp running at 230V, so it needs no electrician and can move from room to room. It is Class II, which means it needs no earth connection. Choose your colour temperature, stand it on the table, plug it in and it is ready to use. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
