Basis Linear LED Track Light 30W - Black

We stock the Basis in black as a 904mm linear track luminaire for 48V track systems. It runs a single integrated 30W LED behind a diffuser down its full length, so instead of a row of separate spotlights you get one continuous line of light in a slim matt black aluminium body.

We reach for it in retail, gallery, hospitality and open-plan homes where a run of even light works better than individual spots. The wide 120 degree beam spreads light across wall displays, worktops, bar counters and living areas, and because it clicks onto standard 48V track you can position it anywhere along the run and move it later without re-wiring.

It is dimmable on a compatible dimmer and driver pairing, so please check with us before ordering if you need dimming. The fitting runs on 48V AC and needs a matching track and power supply (sold separately), it carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use, and it sits in energy class G.

What track does it fit?

It clicks onto standard 48V AC track and can sit anywhere along the run. You will need a compatible track and power supply, which we sell separately, so please tell us your setup and we will point you to the right parts.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 30W LED dims on a compatible dimmer and driver pairing (sold separately). Dimming depends on that pairing, so please check with us before ordering if you need it.

Where does this linear version work best?

It gives one continuous 904mm line of light with a wide 120 degree beam, so we recommend it for retail displays, gallery walls, bar counters, worktops and open-plan rooms where a run of even light suits better than separate spots.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so please keep it away from bathrooms and any location exposed to moisture.
