Description

We stock the Basis Rot as a 12W integrated-LED track light in matt black for 48V AC track systems. It has a slim aluminium body that spreads a wide 120 degree beam, so it lays down broad ambient light along a track run rather than a tight spot.

We reach for it where you want even coverage across a room from ceiling track: living rooms, kitchens, galleries and retail spaces. Because it clips onto compatible 48V rails, you can slide it along the run and reposition it as your layout changes, and the black finish keeps the head visually recessive against the track.

The 12W output runs on 48V AC and dims on a compatible 48V track dimmer system, so you can take it from full brightness down to a low glow. It carries an IP20 rating, which keeps it to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor areas, and the aluminium housing sits in Energy Class G.

Frequently Asked

Does it need a special track?

Yes. It is built for 48V AC track systems and clips straight onto compatible 48V rails, so you will need a matching 48V track and power supply (sold separately). It does not fit standard mains-voltage single-circuit track.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED dims on a compatible 48V track dimmer system (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness down to a low ambient glow.

Does it give a spot or a wide spread?

A wide spread. The 120 degree beam angle lays down broad, even light along the track run, which suits general room lighting rather than picking out a single object.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so we would keep it to living rooms, kitchens, galleries and similar dry spaces rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
