Description

We stock the Basis Rot as a 12W LED track light in a white aluminium housing that clips onto compatible 48V track. Rather than a tight spot, the integrated LED gives a wide 120 degree flood, so it washes light across a broad area instead of pinning it to one point. The white finish sits quietly against white or light ceilings and keeps the fitting from drawing the eye.

We think of this one for accent lighting where you want coverage rather than a narrow beam, so retail displays, gallery walls and living spaces all suit it well. Because it runs on 48V track with a separate driver, you can power several heads from one supply and slide or add fittings along the rail without fresh wiring each time. It needs a compatible 48V track system and driver, which are not included.

The LED is dimmable on a compatible dimming driver, so you can bring the level down for the evening or lift it for a display. The aluminium body sheds heat on its own without external fins, keeping the head compact, and the IP20 rating means it is made for dry indoor use. Energy class is G.

Frequently Asked

What track does it fit?

It clips onto compatible 48V track rather than running on 230V mains, so you will need a matching 48V rail and a separate driver. Both are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 12W LED dims when paired with a compatible dimming driver, so you can set it from full brightness down to a softer level for the evening.

What sort of light does it give?

A wide 120 degree flood, so it is better for washing light across a display or wall than for picking out a single object with a tight spot.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so we would keep it to living spaces, retail and gallery settings away from moisture.
