Description

We stock the Basis in black as a slim 12W LED track light for single-circuit systems. Its linear aluminium body holds an integrated LED that gives 460 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a wide 110 degree beam, with a 90 CRI rating so colours read true under it.

We reach for this one on retail displays, gallery walls and worktops, anywhere accurate colour matters and you want to place the light exactly where it is needed. It fixes to a compatible DC 24V track run rather than the ceiling, so you can slide and angle it along the track to pick out artwork, shelving or a kitchen counter. The wide 110 degree spread keeps the coverage even without harsh shadows.

The housing is black aluminium with a low rectangular profile that stays discreet on the track. It runs on DC 24V and carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor spaces only. This version is the warm 3000K variant at 12W and is not dimmable, so plan the brightness around the fixed output. Bulbs are built in, and you supply the compatible 24V track separately.

Frequently Asked

What track does this fit?

It runs on a compatible DC 24V track system, which you buy separately. It is not designed for direct ceiling mounting, so you fix it to the track and then slide and angle it along the run.

Is it dimmable?

No. This Basis track light is not dimmable, so it stays at its fixed 460 lumen output. If you need adjustable levels, we would point you to a dimmable fitting instead.

What is the difference between the 12W 3000K and the 2700K version?

Both share the same body and 12W rating. This one runs at 3000K for a clean warm white, while the 2700K version gives a slightly softer, more golden tone. Pick 3000K if you want warmth without it looking too yellow.

Where can I use it?

It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms such as retail spaces, galleries, kitchens and living areas. With 90 CRI it is a good choice wherever colour accuracy matters, like art and product displays.
