Description

We stock the Basis in white as a 30W integrated LED head for 48V track lighting. It sits in a white aluminium housing and casts a wide 120 degree beam, so it works as an even wash of light rather than a tight spotlight. There is no bulb to buy, as the LED is built in.

We find this fitting earns its place over retail displays, gallery walls and worktops, or in circulation areas where you want light spread evenly rather than pinned to one spot. It clips onto 48V magnetic or rail-mounted track, so once the track is up you can slide the head along it and reposition the light without any rewiring.

The 48V supply is low voltage, so you will need a compatible driver to step down from the mains, which then lets several heads share one circuit. The light is dimmable on a compatible 48V track dimmer. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry indoor rooms, and the white body keeps it discreet against a pale ceiling.
