Description

We stock the Basis as a 24W linear LED track light in black for 48V AC track systems. The LED is built into a slim black aluminium housing and casts a wide 120 degree beam, so it gives a broad, even wash rather than a tight spotlight. It is dimmable on compatible 48V controls.

We reach for this one where you want continuous overhead light along a run without visible bulbs, such as open-plan rooms, retail floors and hospitality spaces. Because it runs on a 48V low-voltage track, you can add several luminaires along the same circuit for a longer line of light. It sits low in the track for a tidy ceiling line.

The housing is aluminium, which keeps the fitting rigid and helps draw heat away from the LED. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so keep it out of bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor spots. You will need a compatible 48V track and power supply, both sold separately, and the energy class is G.

Frequently Asked

What track does this fit?

It is made for 48V AC low-voltage track. You will need a compatible 48V track and power supply, both sold separately, and you can run several luminaires along the same circuit.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED dims when paired with compatible 48V dimming controls (sold separately), so you can set the level to suit the room.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations.

Does it give a spotlight or a wide wash?

A wide wash. The 24W LED throws a 120 degree beam, which suits general overhead lighting across a space rather than tight accent spotlighting.
