Description

We stock the Basis 24W in white as an integrated LED head for 48V track systems. It sits in a slim white aluminium housing and casts a wide 120 degree beam, so instead of dotting several ceiling fittings along a run you get one continuous wash of light across the track.

We would reach for it in corridors, retail spaces and open-plan rooms where you want even light along a length without gaps or hotspots. The white aluminium finish keeps the fitting quiet against white or light-coloured ceilings, so it reads as light rather than hardware once it is up.

This is a low-voltage fitting that runs on AC 48V, so it needs a compatible 48V track and transformer and will not work on standard 230V mains. The 24W LED is dimmable on a compatible 48V dimmer, letting you set the level to suit the time of day. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor spaces, so it is not one for bathrooms or outdoors.
