The Barroque is a 128cm console table combining polished stainless steel cabriole legs with a clear tempered glass top. The four legs follow an exaggerated S-curve profile inspired by 18th-century furniture, executed in polished steel that reflects light and adjacent surfaces. The 10mm tempered glass top sits flush on the steel frame, giving an open visual profile that avoids blocking sightlines in narrow hallways.

Designed for entrance halls, landings and console positions behind sofas, the Barroque works as a surface for keys, post and decorative objects without adding visual weight to a space. The 48cm depth is shallow enough for tight hallways while the 128cm width provides useful surface area. The polished steel finish catches and reflects ambient light, which can help brighten darker entrance areas or corridors with limited natural light. The glass top is easy to wipe clean and shows minimal fingerprinting compared to solid surfaces.

The cabriole leg form contrasts with the flat geometry of the glass, creating a mix of classical reference and contemporary material choice. At 3.8kg the table is light enough to reposition during room changes but stable once placed. The steel legs are welded at the corners and the glass sits on rubberised pads to prevent movement. Assembly Instruction

Does the table require assembly?

Yes. The table ships flat-packed with the glass top separate from the steel frame. Assembly involves attaching the four legs to the top frame using the supplied fixings, then placing the glass on top. An assembly instruction PDF is available in the Downloads tab above.

What weight can the glass top support?

The 10mm tempered glass top is designed for decorative objects, lamps, vases and similar display items rather than heavy storage. Avoid concentrated point loads above 15kg in a single spot. Distribute weight across the surface rather than stacking items in one corner.

Is the steel finish prone to fingerprints?

Polished stainless steel shows fingerprints and smudges more readily than brushed or matt finishes. Wipe the legs with a dry microfibre cloth to remove marks, or use a stainless steel cleaner for a streak-free result. The glass top is easier to maintain and shows fewer prints.

What depth of hallway does it suit?

The 48cm depth makes the Barroque suitable for hallways from around 90cm wide upwards, leaving at least 40cm of clear passage space. In narrower hallways the table may obstruct movement. Measure your space before ordering.
