Description

Three small vases in clear recycled glass, each 12cm tall and 7.5cm across at the widest point. The body is round and full, drawing in to a short waisted neck that opens again slightly at the rim. The opening is 3.5cm across. The glass is hammered, so the surface carries shallow dents that catch light across the curve. Each vase stands on a small flat foot.

At 12cm tall with a 3.5cm opening these take a single stem or two rather than a bunch. All three stand along a table, spaced apart so they read as a line, and each takes a single stem. They will also go separately, one on a windowsill and one beside a bed.

The vases are recycled glass, blown by hand, and the hammering is worked into the glass while it is being shaped. No two are identical: the wall thickness, the dents and the exact line of the neck differ from vase to vase. Three come in a set, and the Bapti is also made in a dusty terracotta.
