Description
A low armchair 77cm wide, 96cm deep and 77cm tall, built on a chocolate stained acacia frame. Each side is one continuous loop of timber: a curved runner along the floor, up into an upright, then a horizontal arm rail that sits well clear of the seat and runs back to the rear post. A canvas sling is strung between the two sides, a loose olive leather cushion sits on it, and a second leather cushion leans back against the rear strap. The leather is creased and marked across the surface rather than uniform.
The seat is 65cm wide and 62cm deep and sits 45cm off the ground, which is both low and deep, so this is a chair to lean back in rather than sit forward on. At 96cm front to back it wants room to be pulled clear of a wall. A reading corner is what it is made for. It is rated to hold 130kg.
The frame is acacia wood, stained a deep chocolate and shaped by hand, and the upholstery is buffalo leather. Buffalo leather keeps the grain and the creasing of the hide, so the surface varies across a single chair and from one chair to the next. Both cushions are loose rather than fixed.

Frequently Asked
How low is the seat?
45cm from the floor, and 65cm wide by 62cm deep.
What weight will it take?
130kg.
What is the leather?
Buffalo leather, in olive. It keeps the grain and the creasing of the hide, so no two chairs are marked the same way.
What is the frame made from?
Acacia wood, stained a deep chocolate.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the leather gently with a soft dry or microfibre cloth at least once a week, since dust and dirt settle into the pores. Deal with any spill immediately using a dry cloth, or a slightly damp one for anything sticky, and do not scrub. A leather conditioner can be applied, following the maker guidelines and testing on a hidden area first. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, which cause fading, drying and cracking, and never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
