Description

The Auris is a 19cm round LED wall light from Schuller combining a matte black metal frame with a clear acrylic diffuser that reveals a decorative gold micro-print pattern when lit. The integrated 5.5W LED behind the diffuser casts 450 lumens at 3000K, creating warm ambient light that highlights the gold detailing and softens as it spreads through the room. The compact 5cm depth keeps the fitting close to the wall.

Designed for hallways, bedside positions, reading corners and compact living spaces where wall-mounted ambient lighting is needed without the projection of a traditional wall light. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry interior use only. The matte black frame provides visual weight against lighter-coloured walls, while the transparent acrylic and gold pattern inside add a decorative accent visible from across the room when switched on. The Auris pairs with contemporary, Scandi and minimalist interiors where clean lines and restrained detailing are preferred.

The acrylic diffuser is layered against the matte black base to create a shallow relief that gives the fitting a sculptural presence beyond its compact 19cm diameter. The gold micro-print pattern is applied to the acrylic rather than printed on paper, so it does not fade or discolour over time. The integrated LED eliminates the need for bulb replacements, though the fitting is Class 1 and requires an earth connection during installation. At 0.48kg the Auris fixes securely to plasterboard with standard wall plugs and screws.

The integrated LED is 5.5W on 220V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this fitting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Auris to dry interior use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor areas, or any location exposed to moisture.

How is it fitted to the wall?
