Description

The Atticus P/114/R is a rechargeable outdoor floor lamp: a woven dome shade in Light Beige set on a slim pole and a small rounded base, in a Natural & White finish. It stands 114cm tall, the shade is 20cm across and 17cm tall, and the base is 15.3cm across. The light comes from an integrated LED of 3W, giving 154lm of warm white light at 2700K with a CRI of 90, so the colours of cushions, planting and faces look true beneath it. As the LED is integrated, it needs no bulb to buy or change.

Because it runs on a rechargeable battery, charged by USB-C, there is no cable to trail across the paving once it is charged, and you can carry it to wherever you are sitting. It is rated IP54, so it suits outdoor use: beside a garden bench, at the edge of a patio, or next to a table on a balcony or terrace. It is just as at home indoors in a living room, standing by a sofa or an armchair. At 154lm the light is gentle, best for setting a warm mood around a seating area rather than as the only light for reading or close work, and its 114cm height keeps that glow close to the people sitting near it.

It is made from aluminium, stainless steel, polyethylene, synthetic fibre and brass, and the open weave of the shade lets the light through softly while giving the lamp a relaxed, natural look by day.
