Description

The Ashland Bay is a five-light outdoor chandelier from Kichler, built around a burnished bronze circular frame with five clear seeded glass lantern-style shades suspended from curved arms. Each shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately, maximum 60W per socket), and the seeded glass diffuses light whilst allowing the bulb filament to remain visible when using Edison-style lamps. The chandelier measures 663mm in diameter with a 508mm fitting height, hanging from a central stem and ceiling canopy.

Designed for covered outdoor spaces such as porches, verandas, pergolas and loggia where the IP44 rating provides protection against moisture and dust intrusion, the Ashland Bay works best in settings with a ceiling height of 2.7m or above to accommodate the minimum 624mm drop. The drop is adjustable on installation up to 1473mm using the supplied chain and cable, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or seating area depending on ceiling height. The burnished bronze finish shows a warm aged patina across the metal framework, paired with the textured seeded glass which scatters light into a softer, less direct pattern than clear smooth glass.
