Description

The Artivis is an 88x63cm rectangle wall mirror with a polished silver plastic frame and bevelled glass reflective surface. The frame has a 4cm stepped profile that adds depth to the perimeter and throws subtle shadow lines around the glass edge when wall-mounted. The polished silver finish is applied to a moulded plastic substrate, giving the appearance of metallic detailing without the weight or cost of solid metal.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and dressing areas where full-length or upper-body reflection is needed, the 88cm height covers enough vertical range to check an outfit from chest to floor when mounted at typical eye level (1.4-1.6m from the floor). The 63cm width gives a generous reflective surface without dominating narrow hallway walls. The mirror can be hung portrait or landscape depending on wall space and furniture arrangement.

The plastic frame construction keeps the total weight to 8kg, making the mirror manageable for one person to handle during installation and suitable for plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings. Can this be hung landscape as well as portrait?

Yes. The mirror can be mounted in either orientation depending on wall space and furniture layout. The fixing points on the back accommodate both portrait and landscape hanging.

What wall fixings are needed?

At 8kg, the mirror requires two wall fixings rated for at least 5kg each. On plasterboard walls, use metal cavity fixings or toggle bolts. On masonry, standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient. The mirror has D-rings or keyhole mounts on the reverse.

Is the frame solid metal or plastic?

The frame is moulded plastic with a polished silver metallic finish. This keeps the weight down to 8kg and makes the mirror easier to handle and install compared to solid metal frames of the same size.

How is the mirror cleaned?

Clean the glass with standard glass cleaner or a microfibre cloth with distilled water. For the plastic frame, wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately to avoid water marks on the polished finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners on both surfaces.
