Description

The Arid Wall Light Tile is a part for the Arid wall light: a flat aluminium tile 20cm wide and 30cm tall, finished in Textured Graphite Brown. Its face is finely ribbed in close parallel lines that pick up light and shadow, giving a plain wall real texture. It comes in four positions, Central, Right, Left and Neutral, so you can choose the one each spot on your wall calls for. The tile is not a light on its own: it needs an Arid wall light, sold separately, which is the fitting the tile is made to go on, so order the two together.

The tile belongs wherever its wall light goes in your home. A deep, warm brown with a ribbed surface sits comfortably beside plaster, timber and stone, and it suits living rooms, hallways, landings, bedrooms and dining rooms, where you want a wall light with something to look at by day as well as in the evening. The tile carries no IP rating of its own, so keep it to dry rooms. If you are planning several lights along a corridor, or one either side of a bed, the choice of positions lets you decide how each tile sits in relation to the next, so a run of them looks considered rather than repeated.

The tile is made from aluminium and finished in Textured Graphite Brown, a dark brown with a fine grain to the surface that suits the ribbing well. The design is by Nahtrang Studio. Before you order, check the space you have: at 20cm wide and 30cm tall, the tile is easy to picture if you mark its outline on the wall with masking tape and stand back, then pick the position for each spot.
