The Arid A/03 is a compact LED wall light in aluminium and stainless steel, finished in Textured Pebble Grey. A ribbed rectangular back plate sits flat against the wall, and a single slim tubular arm crosses it at an angle, with the light coming from the tip of the arm as a soft, focused pool. It stands 20cm tall and projects just 5.5cm from the wall, so it keeps a low profile. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 2.1W and gives 360 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, which means colours and skin tones look natural under it.

We see it most at home in the bedroom, where one on each side of the bed gives each of you a pool of light to read by without lighting the whole room. It works just as well in a living room, beside an armchair or along a sofa wall, and in a dining room, where a pair can frame a sideboard or a favourite picture. Because it projects so little from the wall, it suits narrow spots where a deeper wall light would get in the way. It is an indoor fitting rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The Arid A/03 was designed by Nahtrang Studio. Its body is made from aluminium and stainless steel, with fine ribs running down one side of the back plate, and the Textured Pebble Grey finish gives the whole fitting a soft, stone-like surface that sits quietly against a painted wall. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician; as a Class I fitting, it is connected to earth as part of that installation. With an integrated LED and a warm, even light, it is a wall light you can have put up once and then simply use.
