Description

The Argos is a 500mm drum pendant built around a smoked glass outer shell encasing a cascade of cut crystal droplets suspended from a polished chrome ceiling canopy. Six G9 LED bulbs (included) sit behind the crystal, casting light through the droplets and the tinted glass to create diffused ambient illumination with sparkling highlights across the crystal surfaces.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the pendant provides both functional overhead light and decorative impact. The suspension cables are adjustable between 400mm and 1400mm from ceiling to shade base, allowing installation over dining tables at 700-900mm above the surface or as a statement piece in double-height spaces. The included remote control dims the six bulbs together, giving flexibility between full output for task lighting and softer levels for atmosphere.

The smoked glass shade filters the light to a warm, subdued tone while the polished chrome canopy and suspension cables provide structural contrast against the organic flow of the crystal droplets. The combined weight of glass, crystal and metal gives the pendant a substantial 7.63kg presence that reads as solid when installed. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor covered areas.

Yes. Six G9 LED bulbs are included and factory-fitted. They deliver a combined 2,820 lumens at 10W each and are dimmable via the included remote control.

How does the remote control work?

The remote uses infrared line-of-sight communication, so it needs a clear view to the pendant canopy to operate. It controls on/off switching and dimming for all six bulbs together.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable suspension allows 400-1400mm drop. For dining table installation the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the pendant by reducing the suspension length during installation.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Argos to dry indoor environments only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor covered areas where moisture exposure is possible.
