Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium LED corner profile designed to house and diffuse LED strip lighting in internal corners where walls meet ceilings or walls meet walls. The profile measures 16mm wide by 18mm deep in section and is surface-mounted using fixing clips spaced along the length. A translucent snap-in diffuser covers the LED strip once installed, softening the point-source effect of individual LEDs and producing a continuous line of light.

Suited to residential living rooms, kitchens, hallways and commercial spaces where corner lighting is needed without recessing into plasterwork, the Arcus mounts directly onto painted or wallpapered surfaces. The white aluminium finish blends with white or light-coloured ceilings and walls, making the profile less visually prominent when unlit. The profile accepts LED strip widths up to 12mm, with the diffuser clipping into place over the strip after wiring.

Supplied as a 3m length, the profile can be cut to size on site using a fine-tooth saw, allowing it to be fitted to exact room dimensions without wastage. The aluminium body acts as a passive heat sink for the LED strip, improving LED lifespan compared to strips mounted directly onto plasterboard. The 16mm projection from the wall or ceiling gives enough depth to conceal the strip and wiring while keeping the installation compact.

What width of LED strip does it accept?

The profile accommodates LED strip widths up to 12mm. Standard 10mm and 12mm strips fit without modification. Check your strip width before ordering.

Can it be cut to size?

Yes. The 3m length can be cut to exact room dimensions using a fine-tooth hacksaw or mitre saw. Cut ends can be capped with end-caps (sold separately) or left open if butting into a corner.

Is the diffuser included?

Yes. The translucent snap-in diffuser is included with the profile. It clips into the aluminium channel after the LED strip has been fitted and wired.

Does it include the LED strip?

No. The profile is sold separately from the LED strip. You will need to source a suitable LED strip (12V or 24V, up to 12mm wide) and a compatible driver separately.
