Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium corner profile designed for surface-mounting LED strip in 90° internal or external corners. The profile has a 16x18mm cross-section with a rounded diffuser face that spreads LED light evenly along the corner line, removing visible LED dots and creating a continuous illuminated edge. The white anodised aluminium channel mounts directly to the corner junction using screws or adhesive tape (not included).

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and retail spaces where LED strip needs to turn a corner while maintaining even light output, the Arcus profile suits both task lighting under wall units and decorative accent lighting along ceiling coves or skirting. The rounded diffuser softens light compared to bare LED strip and hides the individual diodes, while the aluminium channel acts as a heat sink to extend LED lifespan.

The 3m length can be cut to size on-site with a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing single-piece runs along most residential corner spans without joins. The white finish blends into white or light-coloured walls and ceilings, while the surface-mount design avoids the need to cut chases into plaster or tile. The profile accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide and is compatible with both 12V and 24V low-voltage LED strip (strip sold separately).

What width LED strip does it accept?

The Arcus profile accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide. Most standard low-voltage LED strip is 8-10mm wide and will fit comfortably inside the channel with the diffuser clipped over the top.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 3m aluminium profile can be cut with a hacksaw or mitre saw to fit shorter corner runs. Cut slowly to avoid burrs and deburr the cut edge with fine sandpaper before installing the diffuser.

Is the LED strip included?

No. The profile is sold as the aluminium channel and diffuser only. LED strip, power supply and connectors are sold separately and must be matched to the specific installation requirements.

How is it mounted?

The profile is surface-mounted to the corner using screws or double-sided adhesive tape (not included). Screws provide a more secure fixing, particularly for vertical or overhead installations where tape adhesion may weaken over time.
