The Arcus is a 3m aluminium LED corner profile designed to house LED strip tape in 90-degree internal corner applications. The profile measures 16x16mm in cross-section and mounts onto the corner using surface-mount fixings, creating a continuous light channel that runs along the vertical or horizontal corner junction between two walls or a wall and ceiling.

Designed for residential staircases, kitchen plinths, bathroom corners, retail display zones and architectural feature lighting, the Arcus allows LED tape to be fitted cleanly into corners without exposing the tape itself or leaving adhesive residue on painted surfaces. The aluminium extrusion acts as a heat sink for the LED strip, improving thermal management and extending the operational life of the tape. The white powder-coated finish blends into white or light-coloured walls and ceiling junctions.

The profile is supplied as a 3m length that can be cut to size on-site using a hacksaw or aluminium cutting blade. A separate diffuser cover (sold separately) clips into the open channel to conceal the LED strip and smooth the point-source LEDs into a continuous line of light. The 16x16mm footprint is compact enough to sit in most corner junctions without protruding noticeably, while still accommodating standard 10mm and 12mm wide LED strip tape.

Installation requires fixing the profile into the corner using screws or adhesive, then laying the LED strip into the channel and clipping the diffuser over the top. The aluminium construction provides rigidity across the 3m span, preventing sagging when mounted horizontally under kitchen cabinets or along ceiling perimeters.

What width of LED strip does it take?

The channel accommodates standard LED strip tape up to 12mm wide. Most common 10mm and 12mm strips fit without modification. The depth of the channel allows for tapes with standard component heights.

Does it come with a diffuser?

No. The diffuser cover is sold separately and clips into the open channel once the LED strip is installed. This allows you to choose between frosted, clear or opal diffuser finishes depending on the light effect required.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 3m length can be cut to size using a hacksaw or aluminium-cutting blade. Cut slowly to avoid deforming the profile and de-burr the cut edge before fitting the diffuser.

How is it mounted?

The profile is surface-mounted into the corner using screws or construction adhesive. For screw fixing, drill pilot holes through the rear flanges before inserting the LED tape. For adhesive mounting, ensure both corner surfaces are clean and dry before applying the adhesive and pressing the profile into place.
