Description

The Arcus is a 2m aluminium corner profile designed to house LED strip lighting at wall-to-wall or wall-to-ceiling junctions. The angular cross-section measures 31x31mm, forming a 90-degree internal channel that accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide. A frosted polycarbonate diffuser clips into the front face, spreading the light output evenly along the length and concealing individual LED diodes from direct view.

Designed for surface mounting rather than recessed installation, the profile sits proud of the corner junction and is fixed through pre-drilled mounting points along the rear faces. This suits both new-build installations and retrofit projects where cutting into plaster or drywall is not practical. The white powder-coated finish on the aluminium housing blends with white or light-coloured walls and ceilings, while the profile itself adds a defined architectural accent where two surfaces meet.

The aluminium construction acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the LED strip and extending the lifespan of the diodes compared to strip mounted directly onto plasterboard or timber. The 2m length can be cut to size on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, and multiple profiles can be run end-to-end on longer corner runs. LED strip, connectors and drivers are sold separately and must be matched to the profile's internal channel width and depth.

What width LED strip does it accept?

The internal channel accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide. Standard 10mm and 12mm width COB or SMD LED strip will fit. Measure your strip before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

Is the LED strip included?

No. The profile is sold as housing only. LED strip, connectors, drivers and controllers are sold separately and must be chosen to match your specific lighting requirements and the profile's channel dimensions.

Can the 2m length be cut to size?

Yes. The aluminium profile can be cut to any shorter length using a hacksaw or mitre saw. Cut ends should be deburred before fitting the diffuser and mounting the profile.

How is it mounted to the wall or ceiling?

The profile is surface-mounted using screws or suitable fixings through pre-drilled holes along the rear faces. The fixing points are concealed once the profile is installed in the corner junction.
