Description

The Arcus is a 2m aluminium corner profile designed to house and diffuse LED strip lighting along internal and external right-angle corners. The 16mm width and 18mm depth section accepts LED strip up to approximately 10-12mm wide, with the opal PMMA diffuser clipping into the front channel to hide the strip and scatter light evenly across the length of the run.

Surface-mounted onto the corner using clips or adhesive, the profile suits applications where recessing into plaster or timber is not an option or where the LED run needs to follow pre-finished surfaces such as tiled walls, painted plasterboard corners, or joinery edges. Common installations include kitchen plinths, staircase corners, shelf edges, wardrobe interiors, and display cabinets where continuous corner lighting is needed without visible LEDs or hot-spots.

The extruded aluminium construction acts as both a structural channel and a heat sink, helping to dissipate heat from the LED strip and extend its operational life. The profile can be cut to length on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing it to fit corners of any height or run length. End caps (sold separately) seal the cut ends and give a finished appearance. The white powder-coat finish on the aluminium blends with white or light-coloured interiors, though the profile can also be painted to match adjacent surfaces if required.

What width of LED strip does the Arcus accept?

The internal channel accepts LED strip up to approximately 10-12mm wide. Most standard 12V and 24V LED strips fit comfortably within this width, but measure your specific strip before ordering to confirm clearance.

Is the diffuser included?

Yes. The Arcus includes an opal PMMA diffuser that clips into the front of the aluminium profile to cover the LED strip and scatter the light.

Can the profile be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The aluminium extrusion can be cut to any length on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw. End caps (sold separately) are recommended to seal the cut ends and give a finished appearance.

How is the profile fixed to the corner?

The Arcus is surface-mounted using either mounting clips or adhesive, depending on the surface material and load. Both methods allow the profile to follow the corner line without recessing into the wall or ceiling.
