Description
The Arctis Large is a 100mm square outdoor wall light with an integrated 1.5W LED housed in a grey die-cast aluminium body. The LED sits behind a frosted polycarbonate diffuser set into a recessed front panel, casting soft 3000K light downward and outward across the wall surface. The IP65 rating protects the internal LED and driver from rain, dust and coastal salt spray.
Designed for gardens, patios, driveways and building perimeters where low-level orientation lighting is needed rather than bright task lighting, the Arctis provides enough output to mark doorways, steps and path edges without causing glare. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting compact against the wall, making it suitable for narrow side passages and areas where pedestrian clearance is tight. The fitting connects to a standard 230V mains supply via rear entry cable knock-outs and mounts to external walls using two concealed fixings.
The grey powder-coated aluminium finish resists UV fade and corrosion in outdoor exposure, maintaining appearance through year-round weather. The die-cast construction gives the 100mm cube a solid 0.4kg weight that feels substantial when mounted. The integrated LED draws 1.5W at full output, equivalent to approximately 10-15W halogen in perceived brightness, and is factory-rated for 30,000 hours before requiring replacement of the entire fitting.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP65 rating mean?
IP65 means the fitting is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand water jets from any direction. It can be used outdoors in rain, coastal areas and areas with hose-down cleaning without water entering the internal components.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and factory-rated for 30,000 hours. When the LED reaches end of life the entire fitting is replaced rather than just the bulb.
How bright is 1.5W?
The 1.5W LED output is equivalent to approximately 10-15W halogen in perceived brightness. This is orientation lighting rather than task lighting, designed to mark doorways, steps and path edges rather than illuminate large areas.
Can it be mounted on any wall material?
The Arctis mounts using two concealed rear fixings suitable for masonry, brick, rendered walls and timber cladding. Use appropriate fixings for the wall material — masonry plugs for brick or block, woodscrews for timber cladding.
