Description

The Arco is a 1168mm linear pendant light with a folded heritage brass body housing an integrated 43W 3000K LED behind a clear ribbed glass diffuser with an etched interior. Two stainless steel cables suspend the light from a rectangular ceiling plate, allowing adjustable drop between 442mm and 2042mm depending on ceiling height and installation position.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and office desks between 1.5m and 2.4m in length, the Arco provides shadow-free illumination along its full length. The linear format distributes light evenly without creating hotspots, making it practical for food preparation, dining and desk work. The 112mm projection suits most ceiling heights without dominating headroom, while the twin-cable suspension keeps the fitting level even on uneven ceilings.

The heritage brass finish offers a warm golden tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass in depth, pairing with oak, walnut and neutral-toned interiors. The ribbed glass diffuser runs the length of the fitting and softens the LED output while leaving the internal structure visible, showing the etched interior treatment and the brass body behind. Decorative brass knobs at each end of the light add a mechanical detail that breaks the otherwise uninterrupted linear form.

Is the Arco dimmable?

The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Hinkley recommends testing dimmer compatibility before installation, as performance varies between dimmer models and household wiring configurations.

What length table or island does it suit?

The 1168mm width works over kitchen islands and dining tables between 1.5m and 2.4m in length. For islands or tables longer than 2.4m, consider pairing two Arco fittings end-to-end with a 300-400mm gap between them.

How is the drop adjusted during installation?

The twin stainless steel cables feed through the ceiling plate and are clamped at the desired length using internal grub screws. The excess cable is coiled inside the ceiling void. Adjustment requires access to the ceiling plate, so final positioning should be determined before sealing the ceiling.

Can the glass diffuser be replaced?

Yes. The ribbed glass diffuser is a separate component that clips into the brass body. Replacement glass can be ordered through Hinkley's spare parts service if the original is damaged during cleaning or installation.
