Description

The Arcena is a 700mm square LED pendant light built from a hollow white metal frame with integrated warm white LED strip running around the inner perimeter. The frame measures just 25mm high, creating a minimal floating outline that defines overhead space without blocking sightlines across a room. The integrated LED is rated at 3000K colour temperature, delivering warm white light with a slight yellow cast suitable for residential dining and living areas.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and reception desks, the Arcena works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 2500mm cable allows the frame to be positioned 700-900mm above a table surface, with excess cable looped inside the canopy on installation. The square perimeter light source casts illumination downwards and outwards, providing even coverage across a 2-2.5m table length without creating harsh overhead shadows.

The white powder-coated metal frame gives a clean contemporary finish that pairs with minimalist and Scandinavian interiors where geometric forms and neutral palettes dominate. The 25mm frame depth keeps the fitting visually light despite the 70cm span, so it reads as architectural line work rather than a solid mass. The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan typical of commercial-grade LED strip integrated into architectural fittings.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full output on standard 230V mains switching. It cannot be paired with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows installation in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For a dining table the frame typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a minimum ceiling height of around 2.5m for comfortable head clearance when standing.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the frame and is not user-replaceable. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty, and the LED lifespan is rated at 30,000+ hours, which equates to 10+ years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.

What table size does it suit?

The 70cm square frame suits rectangular dining tables from 1.6-2.5m length and round tables from 1.2-1.8m diameter. For longer tables, multiple Arcena fittings can be installed in series along the table length.
