Description

The Arcena is a 700mm diameter circular LED pendant light with an integrated 3000K LED module set inside a matt black metal ring frame. The LED runs continuously around the inner circumference of the ring, casting warm white light both downwards and upwards through the translucent diffuser panel. The 25mm profile of the ring gives the fitting a low visual weight when viewed from the side.

Designed for open-plan kitchens, dining tables and living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Arcena provides ambient and task light across a circular footprint approximately 2-3m in diameter depending on mounting height. The 2500mm cable allows the pendant to be set at different heights during installation, typically 700-900mm above a dining surface or 1800-2200mm above floor level for general room lighting. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The matt black finish on the metal ring absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the illuminated diffuser rather than the frame itself. The circular form works in both minimalist contemporary interiors and as a contrast element in period spaces where a geometric light fitting counters ornate architectural detail. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs and Ideal Lux rate the module at 5 years warranty, covering both the LED and the driver.

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The light operates at fixed output on a standard 230V mains switch only.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2500mm cable allows installation in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For dining table use, the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface. For general room lighting it can be set 1800-2200mm above floor level.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and must only be installed in dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.
