Arcana-2 LED Outdoor Wall Light 6W 3000K - Grey

The Arcana-2 is a 130mm x 225mm LED outdoor wall light in powder-coated grey die-cast aluminium, built around a single 6W integrated LED producing 3000K warm white light. A tempered glass diffuser sits at the base of the rectangular housing, directing light downwards onto pathways, patio areas and building perimeters. The IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed outdoor positions.

Designed for surface mounting on exterior walls, the Arcana-2 suits contemporary residential facades, garden paths, courtyard walls and commercial building perimeters where directed downlight is needed. The 225mm projection extends the fitting outwards from the wall, positioning the light aperture clear of render or cladding. The downward light cone minimises upward spill and glare, concentrating output where it's needed on ground-level surfaces.

The grey finish on the die-cast aluminium body reads as a mid-tone neutral under daylight and pairs with both warm and cool-toned exterior materials — brick, render, timber cladding and stone all sit comfortably alongside the grey housing. The rectangular profile and recessed glass aperture give the fitting a clean, functional appearance without decorative detail. At 6W the LED consumes minimal energy for year-round outdoor operation, and the integrated driver means no separate control gear is needed during installation.

The fitting carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux, the Italian manufacturer. The non-dimmable LED is factory-fitted and rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation before significant light degradation occurs. The tempered glass diffuser is impact-resistant and remains clear under prolonged UV exposure.

What does the IP65 rating mean?

IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-sealed (the '6') and protected against water jets from any direction (the '5'). It can be installed in exposed positions on exterior walls, including areas subject to rain, wind-driven spray and hosing down. It is not submersible.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated and factory-fitted. It is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 10 years at 8 hours per night before noticeable light degradation.

Does it direct light upwards or downwards?

The glass diffuser sits at the base of the housing and directs light downwards onto the ground or pathway below. There is minimal upward or sideways light spill, concentrating output where it's needed.

What wiring is required?

The fitting requires standard 230V mains wiring. An integrated driver inside the housing converts mains voltage to the LED's operating voltage, so no external transformer or driver is needed. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
