Description

The Aperta A1ML250ZL is a replacement Z and L bracket set for the ESP A1ML250 electromagnetic lock, providing the mounting hardware needed to install the maglock onto either a door frame (Z bracket) or a wall/surface mount position (L bracket). Both brackets are fabricated from anodised aluminium with pre-drilled fixing holes for M6 or M8 fixings.

The Z bracket mounts the maglock flush to a door frame where the frame and door are on the same plane, while the L bracket extends the maglock outward from a wall or recessed frame to align with the door surface. The brackets accommodate the 250kg holding force of the A1ML250 without deflection under load, and the anodised finish resists corrosion in both internal and sheltered external installations.

Each bracket measures approximately 270mm in length with a 60mm mounting flange, giving sufficient material thickness to distribute the maglock's holding force across the frame or wall substrate. The kit includes both Z and L brackets to allow reconfiguration of existing installations or replacement of damaged hardware without needing to replace the entire maglock assembly.

Which bracket is used for which mounting position?

Are fixings included?

No. The brackets arrive with pre-drilled holes for M6 or M8 fixings, but screws and wall plugs are not included. Choose fixings appropriate to the substrate material (timber frame, steel frame, masonry wall).
