Description

A vertical iron bar 54cm long carrying three hooks, each one a straight arm that turns up at the tip into a short J. Every hook is held on a collar that sits around the bar, so it swings round the bar rather than being fixed in one direction. The bar ends in a round wall plate at the top and the bottom, each drilled for two screws. The finish is a matt black powder coat, flat rather than shiny.

Mounted vertically the three hooks sit one above the other down 54cm of wall, and the plates are only 5cm across, so the bar takes a narrow strip beside a door or between two windows. Each hook stands 11cm out from the wall. Because every hook swings on its collar, one can be turned aside when it is not in use. Two bars will go up side by side, and each hook takes a towel.

The bar and the hooks are iron under a matt black powder coat, which is what makes them suitable for a bathroom. The Aniko rail is also made with six hooks on an 80cm bar, and the range runs to single hooks and a ceiling hook in brass, both sold in pairs.

Frequently Asked

How many hooks are on the bar?

Three, spaced down a 54cm bar. The Aniko rail is also made with six hooks on an 80cm bar.

Do the hooks turn?

Yes. Each one is held on a collar around the bar and swings round it, so a hook can be turned aside when it is not needed.

How far do the hooks stand out from the wall?

11cm.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes. The iron is powder coated, which is what makes it suitable for a bathroom. It is for indoor use only.

How should it be looked after?

Wipe it with a dry, soft cloth to lift any dust. Harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners will damage the finish.
