Description

We stock the Alfa as a recessed downlight for ceilings where you want focused overhead light rather than a wide ambient wash. It pairs a white powder-coated aluminium bezel with a black internal baffle, and houses an integrated 15W LED module that gives 750 lumens of warm white (2700K) light through a 36 degree beam. The black baffle absorbs stray reflections to cut glare, so the light reads as a controlled cone aimed downward.

We would fit this in living rooms, hallways, kitchens and retail spaces that need defined pools of light for accent or task work. At a 2.4m ceiling height the 36 degree beam throws a pool roughly 1.2m wide, which suits worktops, wall features and display areas. The CRI 90 rating keeps colours looking true under the light, useful in dressing rooms, food preparation zones and anywhere colour matching matters.

The aluminium body helps dissipate heat from the LED module, and the white bezel sits cleanly against white or light-coloured ceilings. It is rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor locations. The fitting is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V AC mains at 50Hz. Its energy class is E.

No. The integrated 15W LED runs at a fixed output, so it is not designed to work on a dimmer. If you want to vary the level, we would pair separate switched circuits or add other fittings on a dimmable line.
