Description
The Adastra US90 is a 100V slave amplifier built into a half-width 1U housing, designed for small to medium PA installations. It gives you a straightforward way to add amplification to an existing setup, whether you're running a 100V line system or an 8 ohm speaker load. The mono output connects via a removable screw terminal (Euroblock) connector on the rear panel, so wiring stays tidy and serviceable.
Alongside the standard RCA line input and output, the US90 has a 100V input on removable screw terminals. This lets you connect the amplifier in parallel with existing 100V speakers, so you can extend a system directly from the speaker cable without reworking the whole installation. It also includes 24V fire alarm mute contacts via relay, letting the amplifier drop out when triggered by an alarm panel. The unit uses Class D construction with a transformer output stage.
We supply the US90 with rack-mounting hardware, and the brackets can be configured two ways: mount a single unit against a wall or under a worktop, or pair two units side by side to fill a standard 1U rack space. Electrical figures include THD under 0.4% at 1kHz, an 80dB signal-to-noise ratio and a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz. The power supply runs from 170-264Vac, 50Hz via IEC. Input sensitivity is -10dB on the line input with a 1k ohm input impedance, making it a practical building block for growing a fixed-line PA system.

Frequently Asked
Can the US90 extend an existing 100V speaker system?
Yes. The 100V input on removable screw terminals lets you connect the amplifier in parallel with existing 100V speakers, so you can extend the system directly from the speaker cable.
Does it work with 8 ohm speakers as well as 100V line?
Yes. The mono output can drive either a 100V line or an 8 ohm speaker load, selected via the Euroblock speaker output terminals on the rear panel.
How does the fire alarm mute work?
The US90 has 24V relay mute contacts, so it can be muted when triggered by a fire alarm panel or similar control system.
How is the amplifier mounted?
It ships with rack-mounting hardware. You can mount a single unit against a wall or under a worktop, or fit two units together in a standard 1U rack space.
What inputs and outputs does it have?
Inputs are RCA line and 100V on Euroblock terminals. Outputs are 2 x RCA line (mono) and a Euroblock speaker output for 100V, 8 ohms and common.
What type of amplifier is it?
It uses Class D construction with a transformer output stage, giving mono output for fixed-line PA installations.
