Description
The Adastra UA30 is a compact 100V line mixer-amplifier built into a half width 1U housing, giving you a five-input mixer and power amp in one unit. It handles three switchable mic/line inputs, an RCA line input and a 3.5mm aux input, each with its own front panel volume control alongside a master output control. The mono output feeds either a 100V line system or an 8 ohm speaker load, connected through a removable screw terminal (Euroblock) connector on the rear panel. It is a practical choice for small to medium PA installations such as shops, offices and background music setups.
Channel one includes switchable +20V phantom power, available via XLR or the rear terminals, so you can run condenser microphones without a separate supply. The amplifier uses a Class D output stage with a transformer for the 100V line, and quoted total harmonic distortion (THD) sits below 0.4% at 1kHz. Frequency response runs from 100Hz to 18kHz, with input sensitivity of -10dB on line and -45dB on mic, and a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 80dB line and 75dB mic. Input impedance on the mic/line channels is 1k ohms.
For safety systems, the UA30 has 24V relay mute contacts that let a fire alarm interrupt the audio when triggered. Adastra supplies rack-mounting hardware in the box, and it can be configured to fit two units side by side in a rack, or to mount a single unit against a wall or under a worktop. The larger 120W and 240W models in the UA range add a global 2-band EQ, while the UA30 keeps things simple for smaller jobs where a straightforward mixer amp is all you need.

Frequently Asked
Can the UA30 drive 100V line speakers?
Yes. The mono output can run either a 100V line system or an 8 ohm speaker load, connected through the removable Euroblock screw terminal on the rear panel.
How many inputs does it have?
Five. There are three switchable mic/line inputs, one RCA line input and one 3.5mm aux input, each with its own front panel volume control plus a master output control.
Does it support phantom power for condenser mics?
Channel one has switchable +20V phantom power, available via XLR or the rear terminals, so you can use condenser microphones without an external supply.
Can I connect it to a fire alarm system?
Yes. It includes 24V relay mute contacts that let a fire alarm signal interrupt the audio output when triggered.
How is the UA30 mounted?
It ships with rack-mounting hardware that fits two units side by side in a rack, or mounts a single unit against a wall or under a worktop.
Does the UA30 have tone controls?
No. The global 2-band EQ is fitted on the larger 120W and 240W models in the range. The UA30 keeps the controls simple for smaller installations.
