Description
The Adastra RM240-WIFI is a 5-channel, 19" rack-mountable mixer-amplifier built for commercial sound installations. It powers 100V line speakers or standard low impedance speakers, with four switchable 100V zones plus one unswitched output for priority alert speakers. An optional 4-16 Ohm output gives you flexibility across different speaker setups. Screw terminal connections keep wiring tidy in a rack.
Inputs cover most situations you'll meet on site. There's an XLR with switchable +20V phantom power, two mic/line jacks, and two RCA line inputs, along with a single RCA line output. A switchable voiceover feature drops the background music level automatically when it detects a signal on mic input 1, so paging cuts through clearly. Rear panel 24V contacts let you mute everything except mic input 1 when triggered, which is handy for emergency announcements. Bass and treble controls, plus master volume, sit on the front panel.
The WiFi models add network audio to the built-in player section. As well as playing MP3 files from USB or streaming over Bluetooth 5.0, you can connect over wired LAN (RJ45) or 2.4GHz WiFi to stream internet radio, playback services, or audio from a local NAS drive. Setup and control run through the free WiiM Home app for Android or iOS, with streaming services built in. THD is under 1.0% and the unit measures 433 x 320 x 88mm. Note that some brands use 'antenna' where we say 'aerial' for the wireless side.

Frequently Asked
How many 100V zones does the RM240-WIFI have?
It has four switchable 100V outputs plus one unswitched output for priority alert speakers. There's also an optional 4-16 Ohm output for low impedance speakers.
Can I stream music without a USB stick?
Yes. You can stream over Bluetooth 5.0, or connect to a wired LAN or 2.4GHz WiFi network to play internet radio, streaming services, or audio from a local NAS drive.
What app controls the network audio?
The free WiiM Home app for Android or iOS handles setup and control, with several streaming services built in.
Does it support paging with automatic music ducking?
Yes. The switchable voiceover feature lowers the background music level automatically when it detects a signal on mic input 1.
Is there phantom power for a condenser microphone?
The XLR input (mic 1) offers switchable +20V phantom power, set from a rear panel switch.
Will it fit a standard equipment rack?
Yes. It's a 19" rack-mountable unit measuring 433 x 320 x 88mm, so it takes 2U of rack space.
