Description

The Adastra BH6V-W is a weather resistant 100V background speaker built for indoor or outdoor use. It uses a 2-way design with an extended low frequency driver and a dome tweeter, paired with a crossover network to keep the sound balanced across the range. The cabinet is moulded polypropylene with an aluminium grille, and the IP44 rating means it copes with splashing water and the odd bit of British weather without trouble.

Wiring is straightforward. The speaker runs on 100V line systems or at 16 Ohms, so it fits alongside existing installs or works as part of a new setup. Spring terminals and a rotary volume tapping switch sit at the rear, both kept behind a protective cover so they stay clean and safe once the speaker is in place. The 120° dispersion angle helps spread sound evenly across a space, which suits background music and public address (PA) work.

Each unit comes with a wall mounting bracket that adjusts laterally and tilts to various positions, so you can point the speaker where the sound needs to go. This is handy for covering seating areas, walkways or entrances without adding extra hardware. The BH6V-W is supplied singly, letting you buy the exact number you need for the job.
