Description

The Adastra BH5V-W is a 100V line background speaker built for indoor or outdoor use. It uses a 2-way design with an extended low frequency driver, a dome tweeter and a crossover network, giving you clear sound across the range for background music and public address (PA) work. With an IP44 rating, it copes with dust and splashing water, so it suits sheltered outdoor areas as well as internal spaces.

The cabinet is moulded from polypropylene (PP) and fitted with an aluminium grille in white, giving a neat finish that stands up to weather. At the rear you get spring terminals and a rotary volume tapping switch, both kept behind a protective cover to shield them from the elements. The speaker runs on 100V line systems or at 16 Ohm, so it fits most commercial installs where several speakers share a single amplifier run.

Each speaker comes with a wall mounting bracket that adjusts laterally and tilts to various positions, so you can point the sound where it is needed. The dispersion angle is 120°, which helps cover a wide area from fewer units. Note that the BH5V-W is supplied singly rather than in pairs, so order the quantity you need for your layout. It is a straightforward choice for cafes, forecourts, walkways and other spaces that call for even, reliable background audio.
