Description

The Adastra B30V-W is a pair of 4 inch background speakers finished in white, supplied with mounting brackets for horizontal or vertical fixing. They use a 3-way design with bass reflex porting, pairing a 100mm (4 inch) PP cone woofer, a 50mm (2 inch) PP cone mid driver and a 13mm (0.5 inch) dome tweeter. This spread of drivers gives even coverage across the frequency response of 120Hz to 20kHz, which suits background music, surround and monitoring work in shops, bars, offices and similar spaces.

Each speaker carries a rotary switch on the rear for 4 x 100V line tappings or 8 Ohms operation. The 100V settings are 30W, 20W, 10W and 5W, matching impedances of 333, 500, 1k and 2k Ohms, so you can balance levels across a chain of speakers running from a single 100V line (constant voltage) amplifier. Dropping the switch to 8 Ohms lets you run the pair from a standard low impedance amplifier when a full 100V system is not needed.

Sensitivity is rated at 87dB with maximum power handling of 60W. Each cabinet measures 136 x 240 x 155mm, and the pair weighs 3.26kg with brackets.
