Description

The Adamas is a pendant light with a pink glass shade, 22.5cm across and 23cm tall, hung from a slim stem with its cable running alongside. The upper half of the glass is cut in a honeycomb pattern that catches and breaks up the light, while the lower half is smooth and clear, so the pink takes on a soft glow when the lamp is on. An integrated LED gives 11W and 746 lumens of warm 2700K light, with a CRI of 90 so food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours, and there is no bulb to buy or change. We offer it in two finishes, Matt Black or Brushed Brass.

It suits the dining room and the living room. Over a dining table it brings warm light down to where people sit and talk, and with a maximum drop of 200cm it can hang low over the table or sit higher where the ceiling is tall. Two or three in a row work well over a long table, the honeycomb glass repeating along its length. In a living room, hang one beside a favourite chair or in a corner that needs a gentle glow for the evening. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The canopy is 6.5cm across and 16.7cm tall. The fitting runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician, and it is for a qualified electrician to install. It is dimmable, by DALI or push dimming, so you can turn it down low for a long dinner and bring it back up when the table is being cleared. Before ordering, measure from the table to the ceiling so you can plan where the shade will hang within its maximum drop of 200cm, leaving enough room for people to see one another across the table.
