Description

The Adamas 33 is a table lamp with a generous amber glass shade on a slim matt black stem and a round matt black base. The glass carries a honeycomb pattern across its upper half and is smooth below, so the top catches the light in small facets while the lower part glows evenly. Inside sits an integrated LED of 11W giving 746lm of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look natural under it. With the LED built in, there is no bulb to buy or change. The lamp stands 52.3cm tall; the glass is 33cm tall and 23.6cm across, and the base is 10.4cm across and 7.9cm high.

It suits a living room or a bedroom. On a sideboard, a console table or a wide bedside table it gives a warm, low glow for the evening, and the amber glass deepens that warmth. The base is compact, so the lamp needs less room on the surface than the width of its shade suggests. It is push-dimmable, so you can bring it down to a soft light late at night. It plugs in, so it can sit wherever there is a socket within reach.

The stem and base are finished in matt black, a quiet frame that lets the amber glass carry the colour. The lamp runs on 230V and is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms indoors only. Nothing else is needed to use it: the light source is built in and the dimming comes with the lamp, so once it is on the table and plugged in, it is ready to use. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket.
