Description

The Adamas 23 is a table lamp built around a rounded amber glass shade, 23cm tall and 22.5cm across. The upper half of the glass is worked in a honeycomb pattern of small facets that catch the light, while the lower half is smooth and clear, so the amber reads both textured and bright. The shade sits on a slim stem rising from a round base, and the lamp stands 44.8cm tall in all. We offer it in two finishes for the stem and base: Matt Black or Brushed Brass. It runs on an integrated 11W LED giving 746 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural.

This is a lamp for the living room and the bedroom, where warm light counts for more than glare. On a bedside table it gives a soft light for reading late, and on a side table or sideboard in the living room the amber glass brings colour to a corner even when the lamp is off. It dims at a push, so you can bring it down for a quiet evening and back up when you need to see. It plugs in, so there is no wiring to arrange. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only.

The base is 10.4cm across and 7.9cm tall, a compact footprint that leaves room on a bedside table for a book and a glass of water. Choose Matt Black for a darker, quieter frame around the amber, or Brushed Brass to pick up its warmth. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs at 230V and needs nothing sold separately, so once it is out of the box you simply set it down, plug it in and switch it on. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket. Our photographs show the matt black version.
