Description
We stock this 60W LED driver in white as the power supply for low-voltage LED lighting. It is a transformer that converts 220-240V AC mains down to a steady 24V DC output, feeding LED strip, tape lights and compatible 24V LED modules. The housing is moulded from white plastic so it sits quietly out of sight, and it handles up to 60W of connected load on its output.
It is made for indoor residential and commercial installs where LED strip or tape runs on 24V DC, and it is built to be concealed above a ceiling, inside a cabinet void or behind joinery where the mains wiring is accessible. We see it used behind under-cabinet lighting, cove and coving runs, wardrobes and feature walls. The 60W rating gives you the headroom for a longer or higher-density run than the 30W driver in this range.
Input terminals take 220-240V AC at 50/60Hz and the output provides 24V DC to the LED load. The driver is not dimmable in itself, so if you want to dim the lighting you would fit a separate dimmer between the driver and the load, or choose a dimmable driver instead. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it away from moisture, and the mains side should be wired by a qualified electrician.

Frequently Asked
What does this driver do?
It converts 220-240V AC mains to a steady 24V DC output for low-voltage LED strip, tape and compatible modules, handling up to 60W of connected load on the output side.
How much LED strip will 60W run?
It depends on the strip you use. The 60W rating sets the ceiling on connected load, so add up the wattage per metre of your strip and keep the total run within 60W, ideally with a little headroom.
Is it dimmable?
No, this driver is non-dimmable. To dim the lighting you would fit a separate dimmer between the driver output and the LED load, or use a dimmable driver in its place.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it must be kept away from moisture and concealed in a dry void, cabinet or ceiling space rather than fitted in a wet area.
