The Knightsbridge 5A unswitched round socket module is a 50 x 50mm modular power outlet designed for euro-module faceplate systems. The module features a round three-pin BS 546 socket rated at 5A on 230V mains, with an earth terminal and IP20 protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm.

Designed for modular installations where different socket types, switches, data ports and media connections need to be combined on a single faceplate, the module fits standard 50 x 50mm euro-module grids and requires a minimum 25mm back box depth. The unswitched design means the socket is permanently live when wired in, making it suitable for appliances that need continuous power or where the on/off control is on the appliance itself rather than the wall.

The matt black ABS construction matches other modules in the Knightsbridge Grid range, allowing consistent finish across mixed-function faceplates.
