Description

The Knightsbridge 45A DP switch is a 1-gang double-pole cooker control switch with a neon indicator, finished in anthracite. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when turned off, providing a complete circuit break for safe maintenance and cleaning of connected cooking appliances. The neon indicator glows red when the switch is in the on position, giving visual confirmation that the circuit is live.

Designed for residential kitchens controlling cooker circuits rated up to 45A (10,350W at 230V), the switch fits a standard 1-gang back box with a minimum depth of 47mm. The screwless anthracite faceplate measures 87.5mm square with 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted. The dark grey anthracite finish sits between matt black and graphite on the tonal scale, pairing well with contemporary kitchens using darker hardware and cabinetry.

The premium-grade steel construction and Class I earthing provide mechanical durability and electrical safety for a fixed kitchen installation.
