Description

This Knightsbridge cooker control unit combines a 45A double-pole switch with a 13A switched socket behind a smoked bronze screwless faceplate with a black insert. The 45A switch controls the main cooker circuit with dual neon indicators showing when the switch is on, while the 13A socket provides a separate switched outlet for smaller kitchen appliances like kettles, toasters or food processors.

Designed for kitchen installation adjacent to the cooker or hob, the unit allows the main cooking appliance to be isolated for cleaning or maintenance without switching off at the consumer unit. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral on the cooker circuit, providing additional safety over single-pole designs. The 13A socket operates independently, so a kettle or toaster can remain plugged in and powered even when the cooker switch is off.

The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to a minimum 47mm back box, hiding all fixings from view once installed. The smoked bronze finish is a dark gunmetal tone with subtle bronze warmth, suited to contemporary and industrial-style kitchens. The black insert behind the plate gives definition to the switch rockers and socket aperture. Construction is premium-grade steel with a 25-year manufacturer warranty.
