Description

Our 432 Ways Street cylinder track ceiling light is a compact spotlight in Brushed Champagne, a soft pale gold. It is 6cm across and 11cm tall, a slim cylinder with its light at the lower end. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 6.7W and gives 773 lumens in a 29° beam, focused enough to pick out a worktop, a shelf or a picture. With a CRI of 90, colours look natural under it. It comes in 2700K or 3000K, so you choose the warmer white or the crisper one.

It needs three parts, each sold separately, and it will not light without them. The first is the 432 Ways Street 48V track it fits, which holds the spotlight on the ceiling. The second is a 432 Ways Street 48V power supply for the track, which feeds power along it. The third is a remote 48V DC driver, which is not included and sits away from the fitting to supply the 48V DC it runs on. The light runs from the mains, wired in by an electrician through that driver, and the whole system is for a qualified electrician to install. In a kitchen, a run of these spotlights on one track puts focused light on the worktops, an island or a table, wherever you prepare and serve food.

Its Brushed Champagne finish gives the cylinder a soft, even sheen that suits pale timber, white units or brass taps. It is a Class III fitting rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use. It is dimmable by DALI, so it needs a compatible DALI control to dim. Before you order, plan the whole run with your electrician, and choose the same colour temperature for every spotlight on it so the light matches. The track in our photographs is not included.
