Description

The 432 Ways LED pendant light is a slim cylinder of light, 8cm across and 13cm tall, hanging on a fine cable from a canopy 17.7cm tall. Its integrated LED draws 10.7W and gives 1134lm or 1157lm depending on the version, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look true and there is never a bulb to buy or change. The light leaves through the open lower end, from a clear domed lens set back inside the cylinder. It comes in seven finishes: White, Black, Brushed Champagne, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass, Textured Olive Green and Textured Terracotta.

We see this pendant at its best in dining rooms and living rooms. Its narrow body suits a row hung above a long dining table, or a single pendant beside a sofa or reading chair, where a pool of downward light makes an evening corner. With a drop of up to 300cm, it can sit close to a lower ceiling or come down nearer the table in a tall room. The light comes in two colour temperatures: 2700K for a warmer, softer glow, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

There are two dimmable versions, so choose the one that matches your controls: the DALI or push dimmable version, for a DALI system or push dimming, or the phase-cut dimmable version, which works with a compatible dimmer. Every version runs on 230V mains and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, so it is worth settling its position and drop before the electrician arrives. The brushed finishes have a soft sheen, while Textured Olive Green and Textured Terracotta give a fine, grainy surface with a warmer, earthier look.
