Description

The Knightsbridge 4-light bar spotlight mounts four independently adjustable GU10 spotlights on a single antique brass pressed steel bar. Each cylindrical head rotates 350° on its mount and tilts 90° from vertical, allowing individual spotlights to be aimed at different points across a room or focused together on a single feature.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, hallways and retail spaces where directed light is needed across multiple zones, the bar replaces four separate ceiling spots with a single fitting. The 54mm diameter heads are spaced evenly along the bar, giving coverage across approximately 2-3 metres depending on ceiling height and desired beam overlap. Each head accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), with dimmability dependent on the chosen lamp.

The pressed steel construction is finished in antique brass, giving a warm metallic tone with darker patination that sits between polished brass and oil-rubbed bronze. The antique finish shows subtle tonal variation across the surface and ages naturally over time. The bar fits standard UK ceiling roses and includes all necessary fixings for surface mounting to plasterboard or solid ceilings.

What bulbs does it take?

The bar takes four GU10 bulbs, each up to 50W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 5-7W GU10 LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general room lighting, or 4000K daylight for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can each spotlight be aimed independently?

Yes. Each of the four heads rotates 350° on its mount and tilts 90° from vertical, so they can be aimed at different points across the room or focused together on a single wall or display.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulbs used. If you fit dimmable GU10 LEDs and connect the fitting to a compatible LED dimmer switch, the lights will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not respond to a dimmer.

What's the IP rating?

IP20. The fitting is rated for dry indoor use only and is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor application.
