Description
The Knightsbridge CU4G is a 4-gang modular faceplate in white thermoset resin, designed to house euro-module inserts for custom AV, data and telecommunications installations. The plate accepts four 25 x 50mm euro-modules or two 50 x 50mm modules in any combination, allowing installers to configure HDMI, USB, coaxial, Ethernet, speaker binding posts or telephone sockets behind a single unified faceplate.
Used in residential and commercial installations where AV equipment, network points or satellite feeds need to be wall-terminated cleanly without multiple separate faceplates, the CU4G fits a standard UK double-gang back box (86mm height, 146mm width). The 7mm projection from the wall includes gently rounded edges and screw cap covers that hide the fixing points once installed, giving a finished appearance similar to standard socket plates.
The white thermoset resin construction carries anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for healthcare, hospitality and public-access environments where surface hygiene is a factor. The IP20 rating covers standard indoor dry-location use. Knightsbridge backs the plate with a 25-year warranty, reflecting the durability of the thermoset material under normal residential and light commercial use.

Frequently Asked
What euro-modules does this faceplate accept?
The plate accepts four 25 x 50mm euro-modules or two 50 x 50mm modules in any combination. Common euro-modules include HDMI, USB, coaxial F-type for satellite/TV, RJ45 Ethernet, 3.5mm audio, speaker binding posts and telephone RJ11 sockets. Euro-modules are sold separately.
What back box is required?
A standard UK double-gang (2-gang) back box with 86mm height and 146mm width centres. The 7mm projection of the faceplate sits flush with typical plastered walls when fitted to a 25mm or 35mm back box.
Are the screw caps included?
Yes. The faceplate ships with white screw cap covers that clip over the fixing screws once the plate is secured to the back box, hiding the fixings for a cleaner finish.
What does the anti-microbial property do?
The thermoset resin is treated with an anti-microbial agent that inhibits bacterial growth on the surface. It has been third-party tested to ISO 22196:2011, the international standard for measuring anti-microbial activity in plastics. This makes the plate suitable for healthcare, hospitality and food-service environments where surface hygiene is monitored.
