Description

We stock this 20W LED driver as the power supply behind constant current LED loads such as panels, downlights and strip lighting. It takes a wide 100-260V AC mains input and converts it to a regulated 350-500mA output, and it works straight off a UK 230V supply with no voltage selection needed. The housing is white plastic with ribbed cooling fins along the top to shed heat while it runs.

It is made to sit out of sight inside a ceiling void, behind a light panel or within a cabinet where IP20 dry-location protection is enough. Screw terminals at each end take typical lighting cable, and the driver is rated for continuous running at its full 20W load. Match it to an LED load that calls for a constant current supply in the 350-500mA range rather than a constant voltage one.

The output current is set within the 350-500mA range to suit the connected load and holds steady as conditions change. It is not dimmable, so it should not be wired to a wall dimmer or a control system that expects a dimming response. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor locations only.
