Description

The Knightsbridge 20AX 1-gang 2-way modular switch is a 25x50mm euro module designed to clip into custom euro modular faceplates, allowing flexible switch and socket configurations in a single installation. The switch operates at 230V with a 20AX rating, making it suitable for lighting circuits and other standard residential or commercial wiring applications.

Euro modular systems allow multiple switches, sockets and accessories to be combined behind a single faceplate frame, replacing the fixed grid format of traditional UK wiring accessories. This 25x50mm module occupies one standard euro grid space and can be paired with other 25x50mm modules (including sockets, dimmers, data ports) to build custom plates in 2-gang, 3-gang or wider configurations. The 2-way switching configuration enables control of a lighting circuit from two separate switch positions.

The module is constructed from ABS polymer with a black finish and carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor installations in living rooms, bedrooms, offices and hallways. The 25.7mm depth requires a minimum 25mm back box, and the module clips into the rear of compatible euro modular faceplates sold separately. Class II construction provides double-insulated protection without requiring an earth connection to the switch body itself.
